ASK-A-QUESTION
New J92 S - will benefit from many new features ensuring that the model stays at the front of the 30 foot fleet:
A masthead asymmetric spinnaker replaces the fractional kite of the J/92 guaranteeing thrilling downwind pace.
The new, deeper 1.9m keel is designed to give high-lift performance upwind and a stiffer boat.
There is a bigger engine: 18hp as opposed to 10hp, so getting from the mooring to your sailing area will now be quicker too.
There are also a number of changes on deck; there is no anchor locker anymore and the non-slip is now molded rather than painted.
The cockpit has been lengthened by 40cm and now features molded footrests. The wooden toe-rails have also been replaced by molded ones, giving the boat a much more modern appearance. All in all: more fun, less maintenance and improved performance: a winning formula.
